Nail polish of the day- Club Prive

During the week, I like to keep my nail polish a clean and fresh color. Usually something on the light side! This week I went with L’Oreal’s 105 Club Prive which is a light blue or Tiffany Blue as I like to call it. I liked the color a lot, but it wasn’t opaque as I would have wanted it and took about 3-4 coats of polish to get the color right.

Peanut butter cheesecake!

I don’t know why, but ever since I’ve come to the US, I’m obsessed with cheesecake! It doesn’t matter what type it is, whether its blueberry, raspberry, chocolate, or strawberry, I love all cheesecakes. ( I know, I’m going to get so FAT) But it just tastes so good!

Anyway, I decided to actually make mini cheesecakes with peanut butter for the first time, and I’m surprised them came out well. Usually I mess it up the first time, and by the 3rd time, it finally comes out right. But first time was a charm, and thanks to this Pinterest Recipe my husband loved it.

I did alter the recipe though by adding chocolate and peanut butter chips to the topping instead of chocolate ganache. I also used graham crackers for the crust instead of chocolate Oreo cookies.

Frey Wille!

I don’t know if a lot of people in the US have heard of Frey Wille but back home in Dubai, UAE, they are quite popular and seem to be located in every mall. It’s an Austrian brand with hand decorated designs on 18k and 22k gold based on artwork from the 19 to 20th century. They sell many colorful jewellery such as chains, bracelets, earrings, watches, handbags and scarves. I do know they have stores in Beverly Hills, California and Madison Ave, New York City. It is a store worth checking out if your ever in the area or abroad.

Personally, I think its one of the most beautiful and unique piece of jewellery I have seen in a while. It’s simple, yet classy and looks great with an elegant black dress. I actually had my eye on Frey Wille jewellery for a couple of years and actually got it as a wedding present from an aunt of mine. Needless to say, I was thrilled as I love it!

I’m hoping to get a matching bracelet or watch sometime this year. They are expensive, so it might be a while.
