I can’t believe that this year has gone by so fast. 2012 has been a hectic year for me as I graduated from college, I moved to the United States and then I got married. Although the changes in my life have been quite huge, I couldn’t be more thankful for all that I have, and even though I am scared for 2013 with my husband deployed, it’s a challenge I am willing to face, and the only way I see for me to progress and grow as an individual.
With that being said, hope you all have a great time bringing in the New Year with whomever you are with. I for one love getting all dressed up, and right now I just did my nails all sparkly with glitter nail polish.
I first used L’Oreal’s # 300 Walk on the beach as a base coat followed by Sally Hansen’s # 30 Big Money
Happy New Year! Wishing you all health, wealth and prosperity 🙂
Now that its winter (or whatever you want to call the weather here in Georgia) I’m so glad I can finally wear dark shades of lipstick and nail polish and not look out-of-place. Cherry colors are probably my favourite to wear this season as my skin is a bit on the dark side, so I usually go for more berry tones.
Lipstick from Maybelline in 420 Deepest Cherry (It’s not as dark as it looks)
Revlon nail polish in 730 Valentine
Absolutely in love with these deep colors.
It’s true! The day after Christmas, everything in stores are marked down drastically as most of them want to get rid of all their holiday stuff to make space for their new products. This is when people should take advantage of it and shop for next Christmas. I know it sucks keeping it in storage for a year, but just think how much extra money you will have next year to spend on presents and going out rather than decorations for your tree.
I went over to the PX today to see what kind of things they had and how the prices were and everything was 75% off. Can you imagine? My total bill for all the Christmas balls and lights I got was only $15. I kid you not! It needs to be next Christmas already just so I can decorate my tree 😀
